Proceeds Benefitting Kiwanis Club of Tempe

The mission of the July 4th Tempe Town Lake Festival is to raise funds to support local children and youth organizations; keeping with the Club’s purpose of “improving the world one child and one community at a time.” All net proceeds from the festival are used to support valley youth via an array of service projects managed by the Kiwanis Club of Tempe (KCOT). Founded in 1952, the mission of the KCOT is to support the six objectives of Kiwanis International and provide opportunities for club members to give community service or funding to those in need, with a focus on young children. This particular club is the fourth oldest in Maricopa County and the tenth oldest in the state.

Items allowed inside the event: 1 gallon of sealed water per person. Blankets, portable chairs, personal cameras and personal umbrellas – up to 48” are permitted.

Clear Bag Policy

Items not allowed inside the event: No firearms/ knives/other weapons. Use of Consumer Fireworks is illegal in Tempe. The use of novelty fireworks including sparklers are prohibited inside Tempe Beach Park. No food/coolers. No skates/bicycles/skateboards. No pop up tents. No gang attire permitted. No pets (service animals are permitted).

Entry is free for anyone showing an active military ID.
