Star Spangled Idol

Congratulations to all of those who participated in this year's Star Spangled Idol. It was a tough decision - as we had many great contestants!

Our 2009 Star Spangled Idol Winner is 19 year old Kianna Martinez from Gilbert, AZ. Great job Kianna! Kianna will be singing the National Anthem at the CBS 5 July 4th Tempe Town Lake Festival produced by the Kiwanis Club of Tempe.

Martinez, who has been singing since she was 7, has performed at the Gilbert Days Rodeo and Parada Del Sol. “I’m very excited to be a part of this,” she said. “It’s going to be awesome.”

Our runner up is Athena Creese who is 8 years old. She did a fantastic job as well! Once again - Congratulations to all of our contestants.
